The Insider Advantage

Before joining the team at Breaux Law Firm, Scot spent seven years working on the inside of a major national insurance company. This experience was a turning point; he saw firsthand the tactics these large corporations use to minimize claims and avoid paying people what they actually deserve. He realized his true calling wasn’t helping a corporation save money, but helping his neighbors put their lives back together. Today, he uses that “insider” knowledge to outmaneuver insurance companies and ensure his clients aren’t left in limbo.

Approach to Practice

Scot is known for his professional, patient, and straightforward manner. He understands that for many, the legal system feels like an overwhelming maze. He makes it his mission to be accessible and honest, often providing the “full story” to ensure his clients have a clear understanding of their situation. To Scot, being an advocate means more than just filing paperwork—it means providing the steady hand and honest counsel his clients need to move forward.

Community & Family

Outside of the courtroom, Scot is a dedicated family man who has been married for 21 years. He is the proud father of two teenage sons and remains active in the local community through his neighborhood men’s club. A true New Orleanian, Scot finds his balance through the city’s culture—whether he’s on the pickleball court, the golf course, or in the kitchen stirring up a pot of his signature gumbo for family and friends.
